| Nowadays abnormal weather occurs worldwide
and I was so surprised at the summer heat of Japan in 2004. When one
of my teachers had come to Japan to study for the first time in 1984,
it had been so hot in summer with sultry tropical nights making a
new record after WWII. But he told me he never knew how the following
summers were, because he returned home during the summer vacation
being impatient of the scorching heat…….. I can tell there is no big difference in temperature of summer between Japan and Korea, but I could not stand that high humidity. However, the fireworks show in Mitsu, Matsuyama City drove off my awful experience and it became a nice memory that beat the heat. Recently we have quite big fireworks in Korea as well, but I liked the one in Matsuyama. It was very special with so good beer! The fireworks show in Matsuyama was so beautiful and splendor that I thought; my life would be short but meaningful just as the fireworks would extinguish in a moment. I promised to my family that we shall be watching the show in Matsuyama next year though we will return to Korea my completing the study in Japan. Life is different from each other, the forms of study abroad are also different, much more sight seeing!! I feel Matsuyama is the best offering so many things to be fun with!! |
